Is this the right way round?

    +1 I think the pin should be on the inside. Now it's sticking out of the body.

    You've me doubting myself now!

    Had a look and mine is as shown in the image, works perfectly.

    The aperture in the plastic cover it passes through is shaped for it being that way about.

    Maybe works either way?

    Just checked mine and indeed, the pin is on the outward side!
