Good luck with the new business Jason! I can vouch for the top quality service and no obligation advice given. I am currently using a JMR long runner inlet manifold and water outlet with more JMR products soon to grace the mk1.

    Regards, Scott

Yeah it's a tidy car, I think there's more pics on the Guernsey hillclimb site. He's just done the 1st event of the season yesterday, second in class with a 35.94 against the winning Honda's 35.85... close considering the Honda has a claimed 20-30hp advantage... that wont be the case next year... ;)

Meant to drop a line on here just to say well done to JMR getting up and running, been a long time coming Jason. I've worked with JMR on the engine of my car and been more than happy working with Jason. Good quality work and good communication, will do as much or little as you want, sensible prices and good down to earth advice practical advice for normal mortals on real budgets.

Having worked with Jason on for a few years (and spoken for a fair while) I would consider him a friend, can't say any more than that :)

All the best with JMR in the future and all being well see you at Wiscombe Jason

Mike, wait till you see this year pics of the car, looks more Berg Cup that a German car[:$] Just a result of constant development really but it's interesting where you end up.

All the very best with the business Jason...

I may well have a spare head before long given my engine has thrown a sicky;)

Fingers crossed it's a head problem & not a piston...[:[]

Aw Tony I'm touched... thanks a lot... we need to get that engine down here, swing the cam and fine tune the fuelling before the September evaluation...;)

HPR... thanks for yr kind comments. I was told in the early days I would'nt be able to just go in and start winning events or breaking records on the hills as there were some respected names out there who had honed there skills over a few years... the car's 1st class win and record cam after it's 3rd event... so I guess there's something right going on.

Thanks Chris... yeah I figured as much... hope yr not in rush! [:[]... we can sort something though. [:D]

    Thanks...[8D]

It is yes...he's had a great start to the season with a sprint class win (and about half a second off the class record) and a 2nd in class on the hills so he's going very well. .Helped with a bit of JMR breathing on his self built engine.

    Thanks Tristan. . .

Dunno bout that..getting away from the dull dead end day job would be a start..time will tell with the rest..if it can work now in a recession it should be good later.

Where have you been of late bud?
