    Hey folks,
Car in question is a 2002 lupo 1.4s 75bhp. Petrol.
Problem is the Radiator fan is not kicking in.
    Its the 3pin sensor/wiring/fan.
    Non aircon.

I have tried the following as fault finding-
Checked fuses in fuse box and on top of battery.
Shorted/jumped the contacts on sensor plug- fan did not kick in.
Checked permanent 12v at red/yellow wire on sensor plug - all good.
Tried to junp fan straight from 12v- worked on one contact but not the other.
Ran engine up above normal temp with radiator temp sensor conected- test fan plug with volt meter. 12v on one terminal then shortly after 12v at the other (as it should be).

Everything points to fan being faulty, does anyone think ive missed anything?
    Thanks in advance

yep jumping the thermoswitch should have got the fan running on the 1st speed, jumping it with 12v from the battery confirms the issue. some have a resistor that can be replaced, other people have added an external resistor to bypass a blown one inside the fan. or just get a new fan :)
