Your board if it is a version 3 PCB will be as the picture. Green is a version 2.2 PCB.
I should have the NTC values for the VW "027" sensors but not with me at the moment.
Sounds like the 'cold temp' resistance is wrong.

Would you be so kind to post them later on when you have time?

Surely you can use Google? Its pre built using small surface mount components. You may not have the usual type resistors with bands but you will have a code instead.

How can i use google if i didn't even understand about what he was talking about? I can't guess. And btw google gives surface mount as SMT and not SMD. Thanks anyway..

This question may be thick :) I've always used super unleaded, just wandering as it's now probably 4 months old will the spark not be able to advance as much as if the fuel was fresh, or will it be the same as fresh super unleaded.

As don't want to finish mapping it then find out it was detonating earlier.

Whats the problem then? Not all super unleadeds are the same. I remember having a problem with BP ultimate

No problem atm, was just wandering whether before mapping I should fresh super in it. As maybe it breaks down and the octane rating falls? Yer my 1.8t never use to respond aswell with bp ultimate. I've got v-power in there atm. Think about 30 litres, could sell it on for a profit with prices atm !

I've been quite atm as was sorting my brakes out before starting to map it! There being a pain in the ****... But this weekend I'm ready to start getting started on it.

Put fresh super in it. Else just calibrate for RON95.

Ok I'll get some new fuel then rather than tweaking it at a later date.

You may aswell start mapping with the fuel in it. I'm sure it will be a while until you start WOT high load mapping anyway. Startup/warmup can tend to use some fuel until you get it fine tuned.

OK is that because under light load if I here DET I can stop but under high load it happens much faster and may do damage before I can stop.

Yer doubt will be this month, depends how fast I get my head around it!.

The base map should be a "safe" one anyway. You'll be surprised how much fuel you can use even when mapping cruise and idle areas. Or just make sure light load areas are mapped on that fuel if you are worried. Better than wasting it.
