I have just bought a 1992 50K mk3 in super douper condition. Good enough to take to shows. Worth not a lot.

How much should I be paying for insurance? Couple 50 plus, max NCB, zero ins claim history and 3 points between us.

Is 150 about right (1st quote received) or can I get it cheaper? If so, who do I ring?

    Thanks
    Jon

Footman James, Brentarce and Sky are the options I have used before.

Really really really trying to leave it std. Not easy, I know.
    75hp, 102mph top speed, 17 secs to 60.
But.........................it has sport button. Quite a rarity, I'm told.
    LOL

Not a popular car , the mk3, for sure.
I've got the 13" original steelies and hubcaps off to be painted, making it even more unusually original.
Interior is as new, missing a first kit, but that's about it!

Its great for not getting speeding tickets, its happy to trundle along at the legal limit
