    Hi.

I have a touran 6 speed box and shifter in my mk2 pd tdi.

When selecting first gear, it is very easy to accidently select reverse as you dont have to push gear lever down to select reverse like in a standard mk2.

Can anyone tell me what im missing here.

    Thank you.

sounds like something on shifter is broken, at least up to MK4 you cant go into reverse position unless you push down on the lever and I cant see touran being any different. Have a good look at it see if anything looks bust
