    Amazing. Is that Flannel grey colour? I had a T5 that colour, its very cool.

    The colour is ral 5014 Pigeon blue. I wanted something different but not to in your face. Thanks for the comments.

    Great work fella got a nice clean shell. What’s the sandblasted you are using as i am doing a rebuild at the mo too

    That’s some work you have put in, fair play to you. Only thing I was confused about is why you painted the mounting surfaces on your hubs and brake discs?

    Thank you, I use a bucket of crushed glass media and a sython gun same as the guns used in a blasting cabinet. If you have a big compressor and clean dry air it's not to bad to do apart from the mess.

    Thank you. The paint I used on these was just from a aerosol so it's very thin. These parts were sand blasted and would have rusted in no time. I've never had any problems doing this before. The bearing surface on the hubs were masked up.

    Thanks for the reply I have ordered 1ton of glass already as my thinking was if any of it gets stuck it won’t rust the car as I’m sick of rust at the mo [:D]as you can see on my thread

    This was done in summer just gone. To cold in garage to do much at the moment. I'll be back on it in a few months as its already been a 3 year project. Thanks for commenting, it keeps me going.
