Any recommendations for a MK2 driver exhaust that sounds nice? I have a completely stock 1.6 driver and is absolutely beautiful. Would it be easier to remove the silencer, is that illegal? I have just bought this as a first car and i am not properly educated on it yet. Thanks for any advice Alex.
A gti 8v system will fit if you either fit a reducer to the 1.6 downpipe, change the downpipe for a 1.8 carb one, or change the manifold and downpipe for gti 8v parts. I had a scorpion system on mine it sounded pretty nice, I went for full system front to back and it really perked up the engine it would rev much more freely. However I did have to remove the head to drill out a rusted stud so the job took a bit longer than I had planned
