i've been looking for places that produce fibreglass panels for mk2 golfs?

tried smith and deakin who don't produce any.

i've managed to find a local man with a mould who will make me a bonnet.

Is there anywhere that makes other panels? (tailgate, doors etc).

    Cheers in advance.

    cheers Chris,

think i might have to try a tailgate myself then [:s] shouldn't be too difficult i suppose if i make 2 skins up and then bond them together.

wings should be possible too but i'm not sure how much gain there would be over a stock wing unless i make them in carbon/kevlar.

I have listed mk2 golf wings, boot, bonnet, and doors from a german supplier's price list.

I'm currently trying to become a UK dealer for him, i've purchased a few panels for my mk1 polo to see what the quality is like, if you bare with me for a few weeks i'll get some pics and prices up.

    Cheers

At the moment he's got listed a mk1 bonnet and boot, although i know he should have a mould for the wings, possibly doors too.

    I'll enquire for you though.

    Cheers

Any chance of someone posting prices. It might be a lot easier than all of us contacting each of them individually. Also might be able to organise a group discount.

I'd definately be interested if a group buy was set up for the Mk2 parts.

    [8(] How is it annoying?

I mearly expressed my interst in a group buy, don't you like saving money??

Yes not all firms like to deal with group buys as it can be alot of hassel, but then again having set up a group buy from the usa for some Lower Ball Joint Extender its not hard to do and it gives the firm doing it a nice bulk order nes par.

I'll get my coat, i don't wanna annoy anyone.
