So i needed to change a broken speedo cable and after watching a few videos i went for it.. the only problem i ran into was pulling the clocks froward. They wouldn't come all the way out, only part. So i took a pick of behind the clocks to see what it could be and found this box and pipe? as none of the videos or DIY threads mentioned this i'm not sure what it is (even tried to google it but nothing) any ideas? i fitted the speedo fine with a bit of a squeeze and its working fine.

yes thats the vacuum sensor for the MPG function of the MFA. Simply pop the vacuum hose off (carefully!) then out they come :)
