How on earth is this taking so long! I thinks you should be looking at a different fabricator! Why can't we have the bore size and prices?

I agree with Golfamily..this is taking forever!!

I hope the prices are going to be realistic and not though the roof.

Heres a pic of the 8v item - we have them in stock, purchasing dept are just calculating a price for them and they will be up for sale!

The pipework is 52mm 2" bore, so great for fitting to existing performance systems, an adapter will be needed for stock exhausts

wahoo!! Thanks for your patience!! :)

So this is not a direct replacement for a standard backbox without adapter? Please explain what adapter is needed to fit a standard system?

    i'm guessing a something" to 2" sleeve. but isn't 8v 2" standard anyway? 16v 2.25"?

please say there will be a 2.5" version for 16v

Will measure the 16v version on Monday and report my findings!! Will also check the stock pipes too - I may be wrong, an adapter might not be needed after all.

The 8v stainless system is the same bore as the stock system - so am presuming the 16v will be the same.

Price today.. i have asked the pricing man, and will kick him (again) if he doesnt do it!!

249.00 is the retail price on these... all you lovely forum folk get 5% off this making them a cool 236.55.
We will get more pictures sorted asap - getting them up on to the website, for the time being though, if you want one drop me a line and i'll sort you free UK delivery on it too.

Thanks for your patience, hopefully you will agree it was worth it!

These do look lovely, however I feel the price is a little on the steep side for me. I'd have to get through quite a few steel back boxes before it paid for itself...

Did you go with the 'straight through' as opposed to the baffled design in the end?

If you were able to offer a complete system for circa 300 I'd be tempted, but until then I'm afraid this magpie is out.

    Hi Rich,

    Thanks for your reply...
These have baffling in them, so they aren't straight through - designed for the Gentleman driver rather than the boy racer.

The price is a tough one, we think it is fair for what it is, and the money we have invested in them.
Out of interest, what would you say is less steep to pay for one of these?

    Thanks

    Andy

    Hi Andy,

I'm sure the quality is great and when you're spending the extra for a stainless box I think that's important. Personally I think a price just south of 200 would be more sensible.

    Cheers
    Rich
