So I’ve stripped most of the sealer off, mostly finished my boot floor until I ran out of welding gas. I was going to spend the evening welding but that’s put a stop to it.

Pretty happy with the outcome, just need to finish tidying it up and seal it up.

This is where I’ve been left..

Here’s a few of the boot floor. Due to my awful cutting skills with a grinder, I’m used to nice guillotines for straight lines, the parts didn’t fit too well so it left me with a few gaps to fill with weld, oh well!

    Stripped an arch too.

and this to tidy up when I finish stripping

    Big milestone, Master W!

It's almost weirdly pleasurable in a sado masochist kind of way.... I took 17 effing kg of underseal off my mk1 one Christmas.

Edited to keep the Feds away from Sam's plans to destabilise the European Union.

    Today has been productive.

I finished off the boot floor now we have gas.

    Removed all dodgy under seal.

Then started prep for under seal tomorrow.

As it looks like I’m away for the next 6 weeks I need to get it out of the garage for dads to come in now it’s painted. So I’m leaving the arches and chassis legs and just need to get it into the floor.

Good work Sam, neighbour's not got a two tone car now though have they? Years ago my mate sprayed his mini red, then saw the white xr2 nearby was a lovely shade of pink.
