Good skills but for the amount of work involved I’m really surprised you can’t get arches you can just bolt on that have the look you are after?

Looks fantastic Daz! My pet hate is those shitty ebay arches, ive not seen 1 car they look right on!

whats the best plan to replicate on the other side?

Bit of back forth with the tape measure really, then the rest is by eye!

Both arches now made, a few measurements back and forth and they are as close as I can get them tbh!

Fully welded passenger side inite, will weld drivers side up next then i reckon a tickle with the grinder and a skim of filler should see them fairly straight!

chuffed with the result, takes a fair while to do this!

And if it ever comes a time someone can see both at the same time, you've got bigger problems! :p[:D]

In slightly other news my daily rocco was under the spotlight recently, featured in a photoshoot for a new Puma shoe release from rather high end fashion store HANON in Aberdeen.

Not me posing btw, my hands aren't clean enough for modelling!

‘Finished’ the rear arches off then decided I didn’t quite like the shape of them and they were a bit too wide, so cut them up again.

Now both done for the second time , little bit more shaping and fillering and should be fine

    fronts next…then paint!

    too wide!

butchering them up again to take about 10-15mm width out

Then finished them up last night for second time

Arch lip needs rounded a bit more with the grinder but the overall shape of the arch is better now

Oh and another shameless youtube plug once again

Made a little vid with some of the build pics and clips from doing my ABF -> 20vT swap in my daily, may or may not be of some use to some on here.

Great selection of videos there @Mk2daz , mine are mainly homemade bottle rocket, some idiot playing a saw and an experiment in levitation.

Its not an easy shaped car to make it look right, these will do for now!

will maybe try a berg cup style look further down the line…

Metalwork done for now and epoxy primed, rolled outside for a better look

next up - get the f**ker stripped and painted and on the road!!
