    Hi,

I think we should create a Colour Concept Register, like the Golf anniversary register.

This will not be as easy as they were registered as normal GTI's, it will all be through word of mouth and what eve we can do on here.

    Mk3 Colour Concepts were all 2.0 8v's 115bhp
Colours were Yellow, Flash Red, Jazz Blue, Salsa Green & Diamond Black
There was 1000 made of each colour, some 3dr some 5dr
Spec all depends on the dealer and customer, some have Air-con some don't, as some have front foglights some don't !!!

    Standard Spec;
    BBS Solitude 15" Alloy Wheels
    Silver Dails in the clocks
Leather steering wheel with VW badge same colour of the car
Heated leather recaro seats with centres same colour of the car, front seats have Colour Concept embossed in them
Leather gear lever and handbrake cover again coloured same as the car
Luxury carpet mats trimmed with coloured edge same as the car
Electric windows (including rear windows on 5dr models) & mirrors
Interior plastics are black (a,b,c pillars)
    Heated windscreen washer jets
Colour Concept badges on rear door mouldings

I am sure that there is nowhere near as many as this still in existance due to irrisponsible drivers etc etc but it would be nice to know.

Please come back with your thoughts guys.

I have one that will hopefully be revived very soon, ready for Bristol Volksfest on 8th, 9th & 10th of June.

Well there is a couple that have gone, not sure how to set it up but I am sure that we can look into something if there is enough interest.

Painful, proves why a register needs to be created as I do not think there are many left

that's nearly 1% of all the UK quota of black ones!
Were you Buffalo Bill in a past life?

-More importantly, have you got a 3 door interior going spare?

Going down, I would love to know how many are left. Done see them very often, most like mine in a bad state of repair. Will be on here soon though. Before and after photos.

    I've had two..................i think!!

The first was 100% a CC. Yellow 95 on an N plate. Magazine featured back in 96/97.

The second was another Yellow one but this time a 2.0 Auto Convertible?! Bought it last Summer for a run around and it was great. Low mileage and a minter.

Had all the usual CC spec but wasnt a GTI? Dont know if these ones count!

Well I am sad to say that I will keep this going but I am back on the search for a new CC as the one I bought on the net was not as described. Looking to get rid of my 1998 in the profile pic if anyone is interested.
