Hi, got a set of mk3 gti wishbones and they came with polybushes fitted, they also came with 2 spacers, and 2 strange washers.
Looking at powerflex site, the mk3 rear kit comes with 4 spacers and washers so presume I didn't get all the parts when guy sent arms.
On the mk2 kit there doesn't appear to be the extra bits just bushes and sleeves.
Is it possible to bolt it up to the mk2 subframe which I'll be using instead of the mk3 now, without them, or can I make some spacers and use normal washers?
Haven't taken the golf apart to look yet, so apologies for asking blind, just trying to get all parts together so it goes smoothly (Famous last words!!)

the weird ones with slots cut out look like they're supposed to slip over the C shaped cups in the mk3 subframe which align the wishbone bushes, mk2 doesnt have these. you would just use them as standard washers to pack out the gap between main sleeve and subframe if that makes sense

Thanks mate, sort of figured it was mk3 specific, but thought would ask, as wishbones came separate from subframe guess the guy just unbolted and put whatever was on the bolt in the box leaving the other bits in situ, at least now staying mk2 subframe it's no worries.

yeah worst case if you have a gap source suitable washers to fill it job done. when fitting get the bushes central in the hole, its easier to do this if you jack the wishbone under the ball joint till level. once lined up crank the bolts down hard jobs a goodun
