My new bolt in adaptor bracket from retrofication arrived and after much cursing etc I've decided its not a bolt in 5 minute job lol Has anyone fitted one to their rocco or mk1? Their website mentions you only need to drill one hole but doesn't say what hole and where you drill and there are no instructions so ive tried lining the top left hole in the bracket upto the old accelerator hole in the bulkhead and even chopped a bit off from the bottom for more room and wont sit right. I'm unsure if its designed to rest nice and tight to the bulkhead or should I be using spacers to bring it forwards slightly as when the pedal is fully pressed to the floor ive barely a 1mm gap which wont help when the carpet has to go back in.
