Two totally different cars mate. The MK7 GTI with its Performance Pack makes a really great all round car imo. Not a lot of cars can out do it on the bends, as the handling is spot on, and it's quick enough in standard form. The electronic diff makes a massive difference too. The Mk2 on the other hand is quite sentimental to me. It's been with me for many years, after loosing two MK2's previously due to being written off !! So this current Mk2 hardly see's the road. Only shows, events and Sunday blasts.
Seems like I haven't updated this thread in a while MK2 is currently off the road having everything chassis and engine related replaced. It was all looking a little tired since I threw the 1.8T conversion in all those years ago ! Big bumpers have gone too, and its currently back to its OEM Driver spec look, which IMO looks 100x's better. Will update you all soon with some recent pictures

Out with the old school Qpeng downpipe, and in with the new custom one. Date still pending on the when the Mk2 will eventually be finished, but it’s getting there ( slowly ). .
