Well hello again all, it’s been a while. I sold my golf... it was a sad day but tbh, I’ve not missed it one bit! I was driving a BMW 320i Estate for a bit, covered 14,000 miles in it over 7 months but there was something missing. It was no fun. My other half has wanted a Mini for as long as I’ve known her, so we bought one. Specifically a R53 supercharged Cooper S. It’s great. I love it!! It handles super well for a stock car, it’s quick, it sounds good although it could sound better and it’s got all the creature comforts. So I’m hoping to do a couple of track days come the summer and just enjoy it. Here she is. I’ll do a few mods, tart it up a bit and get it into a real good condition but it’s a tidy, well looked after car to begin with. I hope to see you on track! Edit: On another note, I emailed over lovely friend Matt over at Trackslag and he won’t build me a bespoke exhaust for the Mini I’m gutted, I was over the moon with the exhaust for the Golf.
Some bad news, my other half was driving home from work and then someone hit her, drove off and never to be seen again Ripped the bumper off its brackets, dented the bonnet, broke the indicator. Doesn’t look too bad though. She’d already called the insurance company so they’ve now got it assessing/fixing it. So hopefully it won’t be long before it’s back. It was a sad evening, I had to go and save her with some cable ties to get it home. And I actually miss it! :O When it’s back I’ve got some plans for her, so that needs to hurry up!
