Looking lovely, you found a good shell, I'm not jealous at all

I'm intrigued, what is your sand-blasting setup?

I've just been using crushed glass media in a bucket along with a suction feed blaster. Be warned It's very messy and wear a good respirator, goggles etc.
I have a 150lt belt driven compressor, on my second one as my first direct drive compressor motor screwed within a year.
Bigger the compressor the better, give the compressor a break often and be patient, It doesn't get the job done as fast as the pros but cleans out rust pits perfectly.
Please excuse my Grammer as not one of my strong points, Thanks Steven.

Well please don’t let my recent posts put you off - time and about 4,000 miles hammered me but I love to see VW enthusiasts saving older golfs (especially Mk 2’s) and you are certainly making that happen - there’s good folks on here that are always willing and frankly quite a few are VAG gods in my eyes
