So many more about these days, not to my personal taste or requirements but great that it`s a success for VW.

Still alot more mk6 golf's about these days than Scirocco's which is surprising considering the price of them, I guess the golf being much more practical than the scirocco is one of the main reasons.

worth almost every penny, as a car amazing finish/design compared to what I normally see coming out of the VW factory floor

They've finally nailed a nice car, and to date can't really say we've had many issues any of them apart from a satnav software upgrade!

100,000 now made in 2 years - can't be bad for a car originally produced for a niche market!

I think cars like the scirocco are going to increase in popularity over the next few years as more and more car companies are going "green and liberal". For example toyota has pulled its celica and TT Corolla series in favour of making more greener cars powered by quite frankly awful underpowered petrols and mediocre diesels. My previous car was the 180hp T180 Auris which even now has been pulled off the line. The same approach is also being adopted by Honda. Its the main reason why i left toyota after being with them for almost ten years.
