Hey Ya'll, ok so ive given a free power steering set up including rack and pump and brackets, everything fits except the pump pulley length, its to short to match the crank pulley. I believe the PAS pump i got for free is mk2 golf. But i think i have a mk3 crank pulley and mk3 alternator. These all match with a AUX belt no problem, but the outer v-pulley on the mk3 crank pulley ( if that's what it is ,needs conferming ) doesn't match the mk2 PAS pump. Do i need a ABF PAS pump to get the right length for fitting a PAS Belt to crack pulley . Hopefully Pics might help but difficult to get an decent pic ... cheers all

when fitting mk3 golf alternator/pas setup you need the mk3 golf 1.8-2.0 8v/16v pas pump & pulley to match.

...and the MK3 PAS adjuster is better than the MK2 one.
