    Hi all,

So, went to get the mk2 tracked earlier and the drivers side driveshaft had fair bit of left to right play in it....

Will replacement inner and outer CV joints cure the above issue?

    Thanks

It's not unusual. I'd be more concerned about a rock in it. They have to move sideways to allow the shaft to "change length" as the suspension moves.

The movement in the nsf shaft just seems to be bit excessive!

The tracking is out but with the movement garage was hesitant to track it ...

The ends of the shaft have snap rings in them, possibly one has come adrift. Only way to know is to strip it.
