    Nice, love a good body resto. Have you had to have much welding done?

    Yes afraid so. Front jacking points, sills, door shut, bottom of A pillar/inside scuttle, both rear arches, rear valance and corners rear trailing arms, rear towing eye, rear turret around fuel filler support, filler support itself. The list goes on. A commercial repair would have been non viable. Fortunately my brother welds!!

    Took a look today. Paintwork lovely. The LA5U has a real dark blue effect and then the sun hits it and it just sparkles. Seems better than the last job 17 years ago which I always thought last looked more like Helios blue
