Rear Beam bush spacing

    I've been fitting the rear beam bushes but I'm unsure where you are supposed to measure the bush protrusion from? Would it be the blue line or the yellow line?

    The diagram below is from the workshop manual and its pretty unclear, the dimension I'm interested in is "a"

    blue line, it should be 8mm iirc

    Yeah it says 8mm in the book, will have a go later today because it almost looks like the bush can''t go in any further without hitting the flared out part

    I did it on my corrado last winter, I pressed the bushings fully to stop, the other end was protruding around 7mm, I was not able to press it any further..
