Hi everyone only just found out that the hedgehog unboats from the manifold has anyone tried removing it and cutting the spikes of to improve flow I would also smooth out the insides would this be a worthwhile mod or will it just make it run like poo I have a 1.8 driver with a weber 32 34 dmtl carb.

Won't really make any difference without other changes.

is a common mod, but doesnt really make any real difference, better off doing the usual gti cam, kjet dizzy, gti 8v manifold and downpipe. these will give proper results

yeah just has better ignition map in it, that plus cam main difference between a gti and a 1.8 carb. the gti head flows a bit better too but nothing spectacular
