Hi all has anybody got a tip how to stop oil weeping from the rocker cover gasket. Is it just the case of putting a new one on and witch one do I use cork or rubber.

I would fit new rubber one, if the original is still on it will have hardened with age, also may have have been over tightened in the past. You must be an old fart like me still calling it rocker cover!

8 or 16v ? If 8 you need non shouldered studs for the rubber gasket . Cheap to buy or if you forget, like me, it's not hard grind the shoulder off of the original ones .
