I've noticed that more and more people are building their own engines these days but only seen one or two using assembly lube. Assembly lube is used mainly on valvetrains, cranks and rods to help initial break in of new parts, giving them a more efficient and longer life. Max-Tuff basically minimises metal to metal contact when your oil is still making its way from the sump. Royal Purple are responsible for many great products including Ultra-Performance Grease (UPG). When the China Star Bullet Train was having heat problems keeping them from achieving optimal speed, they evaluated 26 of the best lubricants available. Royal Purples UPG product solved such problems for them. Golf wheel bearings shouldn't be a problem then...lol It's just over 26 plus postage for an 8oz bottle but that should last many builds. Do not use this on your cylinder bores as the rings would never bed in. Please follow the link to our store Click Here
