    looks good. a more sensible height than mine. mines not on coilovers and i have no idea of what drop either.

    part of me regrets changing mine from the monza blue but it really needed sprayed and the bonnet and bootlid were rusted through. i need arches too to be correct.

    or a clean shell :lol:

    i like the way yours sits though aid. tis a good height, i also like the colour!

    mine sat like this when it had the kit, thats no height change on the coilovers either. so you can see the kit makes it look lower than it is;

    i'll possibly be respraying mine over summer, probably in black but undecided as to whether its worth it tbh.

    Well my personal opinion having driven many Mk1 & Mk2 Golfs, Mk1 & Mk2 Roccos is that the Mk1 Rocco handles far better than any of the others....but after that give me a Mk1 Golf as the next best handling out of the rest!

    I'd love to have another Mk1 Rocco ;)

    I know this thread is a bit old now, but reading it has got me wondering about the rocco front. With all the talk on prices I looked at ebay and all the rocco's on there had square headlights. I was sure the pictures I've seen before they had round headlights? As you can probably tell I don't know much about them! I loved the look of the round headlights (why I bought my golf!), but I remember loving the rocco too - but not the square ones! Can someone put me straight?!

    No issue with reviving the thread - that's what they're for. Mk1 Roccos mostly had round headlights (although some base models might have been different IIRC). Mk2 were rectangular.

    I don't remember any Mk1 Roccos without round lights......having said that I did have a Mk1 Golf with a rectangular Zender kit on it once for my sins...lol

    So what year did the last Mk1 come out? It would seem only Mk2's are on ebay at the moment.

    the lower spec mk1s in mainland europe such as the 1.1 and 1,3 had rectangular lights instead of the quad lights, also the junior cup mk1 sciroccos also had these lights. I have yet to see a later (1980+) rocco with the wrap around indicators without round lights, unless of course modified..
