Only Cat back for the moment, also threw an Evoms intake on aswell. Sounds a bit mad from both ends now

Not sure about stage 2 /2+, can't be assed with fuel pump mods, nor killing clutches etc.

Might just keep it as it is for now and buy an R8 next year ;)

LOL. Someone is obviously doing well with oil shares and offshore engineering projects.

R8 is my dream car, see so many of them around Solihull. Everyone round here seems to be loaded except me.

How was the ownership experience? You're suggesting it was sold with a sense of disappointment?

    Indeed

Absolutley awesome car. Went like a rocket, sounded ace, and looked superb. Not a single fault during ownership.

However, 6700miles in 20months, and a mere 1500 since it was serviced in May last year meant it was a garage ornament.

Took the deposit on the Thurs, nearly called the guy over the weekend to give it back, but decided to let it go. ew owner was chuffed, exactly as dscribed and had a good drive back down to Yorkshire.

Current plan is to buy an S3 sportback for the missus, get the Mk2 Finished, and over the next few months look for a more suitable toy to fill the garage space, 4.2 V8 or Flat 6 powered. The next dilema will be should i keep the A4 or not......
