It's not as bas as I first thought but she's gonna be off the road for awhile now. From fisrt looks I need a new bonnet, core support, headlight, rad, drivers door and grill. I guess this will give me time to put the ABF in thoughlol

Cheers guys. The police wouldn't let me keep the stag as a trophy. Thanks Shaz, I'll be looking soon. I don't know how it didn't come through the windscree but I'm glad it didn't as I've already replaced it twice, though I'm still no sure how it dented the door

Bloody hell Lee, that was lucky. I'm sure I've got a spare headlight you can have. I might have a cross member as well, but you should be able to get one closer. If not, let me know.

I'm not claiming through my insurance, I'm just gonna sore it and fix it when I get a chance. It scared the S@#* out of me, I couldn't stop quick enough. Maybe it's time to upgrade to 280mm brakes lol

Thanks Sparrow, any help with part would be awesome:thumbup:

Jeez! At least your ok Lee.

Its done some damage to the front, but it does look easily repairable. It may have put the inner wing out a bit though, but you wont know until you strip it down.

Ive got a few random parts in the lock up. Will have a look and see what ive got :)

Indeed! you wipe out the deer or did it trot off?

got nothing for the car though to help you fix it.

What size of deer was it? I've seen a few cars written off by hitting 1/4 ton of red deer stag on road rallies, and some people get badly hurt too.

Glad you walked out of it. That's the main thing. Check that it's properly straight before you start buying bits.

To give you an idea of size, the belly of the stag is what damaged the bonnet.

I'm gonna have a proper look at it this weekend but after a quick look this morning the chassis legs still look straight and the door lines look ok

Thanks to everyone for their concerns and offers of parts, just goes to show how helpful the forum really is.

Yeah you might think that, but secretly we're hoping for some bargains if you end up breaking it ;)

I still haven't had a proper look as it's really heartbreaking but I'm gonna try to see how bad it is this weekend.
