These are the same RS&SP dampers out of Argentina that we began running on our rally car this past summer. Below is a comparison to a 40mm Bilstein insert in a custom 50mm Cro-mo tube... www.rallispec.com is the US dealer & service center.

The dissy drive could possibly be one from the Porsche 924, it runs at 90degress too, and looking at it it could be modded to continue the drive for the pump out the end as above:thumbup:

Jaymac, on the pictures you spoke about a 1300cc with 170 HP, when I drove it, it was a 1100cc with 141 HP, "no more than 9000 rpm" said mr Krogel!

You are comparing a pure sprint engine to a one which must race 1 or 2 hours!

In fact, there is a Gr2 or GrA 8V gearkit without the 5th. He adds other 3, 4 & 5 from std gboxes. I bought a complete gearkit for 600 € last year (without cwp).

I suppose this has no secret for you: http://www.brokevw.com/020ratios.html

The italian Bacci parts are brand new, it is a company building gbox parts for any car, you can even ask for specific items (as the 3.38 was not sussed, they were ok to build one for approx 1000 and 6 working weeks). I know the relability of their cwp, but not about the gearkits.

My 3.38 is a VW Motorsport item, there is nothing marked on it except 3.38, Z18 (18 teeth) on pinion and Z61 on the crown.
