"DRY YOUR EYES MATE, I KNOW YOU WANT TO MAKE HER SEE HOW MUCH THIS PAIN HURTS, PLENTY MORE FISH IN THE SEA" Quality album mate
fab album, really like track no 4... think its about drugs but its really good anyway!!! "lights so blind in my eyes........ people pushing by, then walking off into the night" the album is a story if u listen 2 it beginning to end which i think it quite cool, a feel good ending to!!!
Have never been a big fan but really quite like the new album! Still think some of the songs suck but some of them are great! Lyrics are quality on all of the tracks!
The Streets are awesome. Love both the albums. A work mate went to see them a couple of weeks ago, lucky bugger!!
i love the album again, track 4 and track 6 stand out. notice the extra bits in your fit but you know it? love the ending. Class album.
Track 3 - Not Addicted is my favourite on the album, although Blinded By The Lights is one of the best live tracks, went to see them at Leeds Uni Refectory last month, still not convinced this album is better than the 1st one though as people keep saying.
Thought was thread about town driving (feel stupid) Never heard of the band, or rather, probably have without really taking notice. Edited by: chipmonk
the album is amazing....i love the fact that its a story all the way through. my favourite songs are: blinded by the light & dry your eyes mate. mike skinner is a genius. his lyrics are simple but its all true to life..... i went to see the streets in manchester in may....they were f*ckin brilliant. i agree that it is a bit of a chav cd....but hey....
The album is seriously good, even if you dont like it, its something totally different! I cant fault it at all, love it, Lyrically its so good, the story thing is fantasic! the tunes take u from crazy hectic to chilled out slow moving stuff! At least hes doing something totally different to all that other pooe at the moment! Love it Edited by: baz_mk_2
It is so much better to listen to lyrics that mean stuff to us Brits, than to hear all the American bulls**t that keeps gettin played over here. Roots Manuva, The streets, Dizze Rascal big up yerselves
Yeah and me....didn't see you there though They were fukkin great When they first came on the scene I wasn't convinced, but the more I listened, the more I like Disappointed GLC weren't supporting though......
