I've not heard it yet. I always though it just looked like a load of townie cr*p. Bit like So Solid Crew or something like that. I'm just downloading it now anyway to see what the crack is.
I downloaded it yesterday. I can safely say I HATE it! just sounds like some daft pikey waffling on about a load of b*ll*cks.
Gotta say I love The Streets (and have done from before they became big - i love being able to say that about people! ) sadly missed them each time they've came to Belfast to play. Luv "the irony of it all" on original pirate material brilliantly done.
Oh yeah and "lets push things forward" - says it all really they're just not the usual cr*p you here on the radio all the time these days. And "stay positive" - great track... deep man helped me tho (seriously) Ain't got a chance to listen to the new album yet so can't really comment.
track no4 reminds me of nights gone by off my tits, i like the album has an alternate ending depending on whether he smokes cannabis, or drinks super Ts.
I must say, normally I like good music, but this is ace! I checked it out solely on recommendation, and if you look past the fact that he's just talking at varying speeds to make his 'rhymes' work, the album's pretty clever. Nice to sit and hear how it all works out. The weed ending's the best. Edit: Could Well Be In, Dry Your Eyes and Empty Cans are the best. Tom Edited by: Ghost
i never noticed that about the last tune, just listened again and it makes more sense now. the more i listen the more i love this album, wasnt so sure about it the first time because its pretty different to the first album.
Fantastic album if you disagree you're wrong! Track 10 really helped me out recently. classic quote: This one's fat, like your mother, contains nuff calories
An OK song with a couple of good lines. "stop sharkin for aminute to get chps and drinks" But this line made the album clearly complete utter shit. "Yes, Yes oh yay" Complete bollox!!!!!!! a wase of plastic, noise polution and lazy useless tallentless gimps who wrote it!!!!!
both albums are superb. like recardo said you can relate exactly to what he's on about. Edited by: Chris H
