    Morning everyone

I’ve decided to get started on my 3.2 v6 conversion on my Mk2, I’ve got a full 3” trackslag from when it had the 1.8t in, I’ve got to order a new downpipe obviously for the 3.2 and just want to make sure or see if there’s anyone that’s done the same, but I’m thinking I should get the 3” downpipe but just don’t want to make a mistake and realise I should’ve got the 2.5” due to back pressure or anything

is the 3” to big or will it be ok?
    Cheers in advance

Give them a call and discuss it with them, extremely helpful.
Sure the 3" would be fine, a 2.0 16v used 2.5" as standard as far as I know, so it's not over the top to go slightly bigger.

3.2 or 2.8 24v do not need 3in of exhaust tubing.

2.5 in is more than enough.
