My mk1 project is nearly a runner, on jenveys.
First prime of the HP fuel pump and there is a little leak on the link pipe.
The perfect litte leak for a potential fire, finely atomised fuel spraying.
Stripping it down and once the 'difficult to remove' circlips are out there are two 12mm OD
1.6mm section O rings providing a seal. (or not in this case)
    Anybody modified this arrangement?
I don't like it one little bit....

I've heard rally mates complain about the fuel rail on Jenveys. Is it a case of the o rings damaged on assembly, or too small in section?

O rings age, and they really are tiny. New set ordered from Jenvey, going to play with a spare rail and 1/4" BSP, M12x1.25 etc fittings. Problem
is the lack of meat' available to tap the rail.
You used to be able to get a male barbed outlet from Jenvey to take a flexi pipe, but its NLA. Suppose I could turn one up..

It's easy to tear the o rings Jon...particularly old less flexible ones. You probably have but make sure there's no sharp edges to the end of the pipe...file a gentle taper and use a light smear of grease or vasaline.

I'll ask an efi supplier if he can help, he's ex Jenvey and very helpful.

chinese ' no clip' fuel rail on, as temp measure.
    Jenvey sending new O rings
Will make new 10mm pipe, old one had nice radius on ends.
Still think its a crap design, asking for trouble, potential for fire risk very real
    Cheers
    Jon
