Do you think its same company that sells a used wheel nut for £20 and £999 delivery, off a car they are breaking? Perhaps they've got new old stock.
Loads of parts like that on ebay with crazy made up prices. Team Heko heckblende direct from them is about £30, some sellers have these pitched as rare at 4 times the price!!!

there should be a spade on the metal ring round the filler, its always corroded off by now. doesnt really affect anything so i wouldn't worry about it. the idea is it prevents any chance of a spark from static buildup. someone mentioned they prised a mk4 golf filler opening off a scrapped car and swapped so thats an idea, but theres a risk of trashing your tank
