If theres one car I want to see in person, its this one. I'm well made up you've got a thread on here as I'd thought it was gone after the demise of the ED38 forum. You've worked fast.
Really appreciate the comment and yeah lost all my info on that ED38 thread which is a shame as was also documenting it for my own personal use.. Anyway another small update most of the exterior panels all back together and starting to see final form as some of the ideas were thought of / sourced many years ago and only just i've i got to seeing how they look like on the car. Dash And how the front looks
This is amazing. Good work mate. Thats going to catch a few people by surprise thats for sure haha! Just a right amount of mods / updates meshed well to the original character of the car without going too far.
Externally i've tried to keep it as close to original with small changes round what came out the shelf from vw but inside and the bay had to go with what worked for the engine many thanks
Should try to update this more often but not much has happened although car is now UK registered which was a big milestone for me. Still got some small running in issues mainly fuel related but is mostly back together now.
Awesome build and fair play some thought and skills gone into this!! Not been on the forum literally in years, this was an enjoyable read and visit! Ps what’s the plan for the roof gutters...
Many thanks just tried to do as best as i could within my head, i tried shortening some mk2 ones but didn't like how they turned out managed to find some jetta 5door ones which also need a bit of work to make them fit a coupe thats currently what i got on photo above was before i fitted them
