An old skool rap compilation I made
    Ian Dury and the Blockheads
DJ Shadow - The Private Press

    What about you?

Radio 2 and Jazz FM lately ;) , just started listening to the radio in the car again, usually CD's all the time.

    Apart from that:

Counting Crows 'Hard Candy' and 'Recovering the satellites'

    Ryan Adams 'Gold' and 'Demolition'

    U2 'Achtung Baby'

Few others I can't remember at the moment!

Yeah, the Bryan and Ryan thing is a bit weird eh?

Rainking: what's your fave CC track? (Apart from Rainking of course!)

Mine are: Mrs Potters Lullaby, Rainking, American Girls. I think I have all the albums now, well, all the ones that are easy to get anyway! :)

I've got all the studio stuff, Across a Wire, and a official bootleg.. 1 of 250 or something ;)

Loads of Mp3s and am in the process of pre-ordering the greatest hits!

Rainking is obviously a fave, especially the live version with 'thunder road' love the 1994 live version of 'Round Here' from Paris.... 12 minutes long, and spine tingling.

Love Miami, Up All Night, Mr Jones, Murder of One, St. Robinson.... aaargh... too many to list!!!!

Seen em live about 7/8 times.... met them at Wembley in January.... (watched the superbowl with them after the show!) They are without doubt my favourite band of all time! (bit of a CC Geek) if you want any cool live and rare stuff, let me know....

K&D are superb! That sessions double CD is incredible, every time I listen to it I hear something new and I've had it on heavy rotation in my house/car/walkman for about 3 years at least!!

recently back to old stoner rock Kyuss or more up to date stuff ie Brandt Bjork or Queens of the Stoneage.

Stuff that rearely leaves the car is Dj shadow stuff (as in DJ shadow post) Jon Spencer, Orb, Public Enemy, and some old big band jazz like Count Basie.

Main car is out of mot now so I'd better transfer it all to tape for the 1.3 [:s]

It is a great CD but nowhere near as good as the original radio show broadcasts that it's based on... I've got 4 of the 5 as MP3s, 60 minutes each or so, totally brilliant stuff, including:

    * Public Enemy over the top of Herb Alpert/Tijuana Brass Band
    * Bootylicious over the top of Smells Like Teen Spirit
    * Beastie Boys - Intergalactic over Rockit by Herbie Hancock and INXS

    Superb!
