Obviously pretty much all of us are here because of a love for VWs, and mk1, 2s in particular... But what other love / affliction have you outside the VAG stable? I've a couple of BMWs, older ones (e30 and e39) and a Ford Ka rally car with a 16v Puma engine swap.
I currently do not have any toys, space doesn’t permit any But if I had space, I’d be buying either a mk2 escort or a classic mini. Bonkers rally car if I was building an escort, mega fast turbo’d mini.
Two mk2 golfs, BMW e91 M sport, polo 1.2 9n3, kia picanto and a mk1 MGF. That's between us, did have a classic mini 998 until couple months ago too, but something had to go.
Unfortunately not, imagine a small black car that gave 70 mpg on a Somerset run, more room and better visibility than a fiat 500 or ford ka, free tax and lots of small soft toys in the centre console, that's the kia. Its mrs dodgys car, a lot lighter for her after her spine op few years ago, I'll admit I really like it, sure a bit more power would be nice, but it's a good runaround second car. Obviously dont want to post a picture as it will blow everyone's mind, and this will become ClubK.I.A.
Another classic mini owner here! Had it for years - doesn't get driven much but hopefully won't have to get rid of it
MK2 Golf, MK3 Golf, MK3 Golf estate, those 3 was the do all holy trinity for me. Got the MK2 to a place it was fun to drive, not fast just fun, the MK3 did all the daily duties both look pretty clean and tidy. And the Beaten up estate does all the other jobs, tip runs, MTB hauling, camping trips and the dogs taxi. Then I got given an 06 Passat TDi ( I currently work from home and never leave the house )
