My favourite song since I was 13 (15 years ago) - Cortez The Killer, by Neil young. Read up on the lyrics and understand what it's about, then listen to it a good few times - some of the finest guitar ever, and all on his original Les Paul (called "Old Black" I think), with a Bigsby tremolo, and a Fender Deluxe..... apparently he has bought over 300 of the same amp, but sticks with the original one he has because nothing sounds like it.......
Nah I mean I can kinda' relate to the lyrics, "I've watched you change"... Unfortunately. Proof that girls are evil. Tom
what? you think ive changed,,,you dont know me! ok ill stop now, although i have good reason to be paranoid at this moment in time...
nothin really inparticular but having watched The Chemicals at Glasto an bbc on sunday night I then proceded to download a few tunes (tho I have several albums) and one which I really like which I've actually got as a b-side on a 12"sigle to electobank is: not another drugstore I havn't listened to it for ages as its on vinyl an I haven't set my record player up for ages - mostly listening to mp3s on my 'puter!
I didn't even mean the song, just in general... There are a few versions I believe. My favorite (the only one I know) is a punk type song by Dope... I'm off to bed. Tom
The theme tune to the really old Spiderman cartoon which was on TV this morning, "Spiderman, Spiderman, friendly neighbourhood spiderman................"
