I want to change the wheels on my Golf and the ones I want get have an offset of ET25. The seller is telling me they will fit, but before I buy them I just want to confirm this. The bolt pattern is 4x100 which is correct, Iā€™m just unsure of the ET? The wheels are 15ā€ and are 8ā€ wide front and rear. Also my car is lowered 40mm all round. Thanks

Managed 8x15 et 20 on seat inca ( mk2 caddy) 120mm rear lowered, 75 front, had to neg camber and roll rear arches. Know it's not a golf, but it was the rears that were worst due to ride height.
Can go on willtheyfit.com and there is an offset comparison that tells you poke difference etc between wheels.
