Wheel offsets

    I want to change the wheels on my Golf and the ones I want get have an offset of ET25. The seller is telling me they will fit, but before I buy them I just want to confirm this. The bolt pattern is 4x100 which is correct, I’m just unsure of the ET? The wheels are 15” and are 8” wide front and rear. Also my car is lowered 40mm all round. Thanks

    Managed 8x15 et 20 on seat inca ( mk2 caddy) 120mm rear lowered, 75 front, had to neg camber and roll rear arches. Know it's not a golf, but it was the rears that were worst due to ride height.
    Can go on willtheyfit.com and there is an offset comparison that tells you poke difference etc between wheels.
