today i had to sort out my wife`s golf there a bearing noise and driving fast it increasing turning right the noise still there but turning left it slightly go`s i check all the wheels and they dont seem to have any play in them but the rear tyres where slightly worn in side so then i change the rear tyres and had a 4 wheel alignment and still the same so so i changed front wheel bearing the near side thinking that side gets a lot bumps and curbs but it turns out to not be, and also snapped of the ball joint bolts so i had to buy a new one it was a pain in the ass to do. now im going to do the rear n/s is this a easy job than the front. any help on this would be great i hope its not the drive shafts the n/s one new costs 449.88 from vw [/IMG]I must say that i do enjoy working on my mk2 golf gti
