    I got a two door gti mk3 and the window on passenger side intermittent but mainly stays up and the driver side sticks half way up goes back down ut down work but sometimes it stays down for like a week then when I re try it it goes back up I've checked the wires seem to be no cuts like there normally is and tried the key thing that some times works
    Any suggestions or advice thanks in advance

    Sounds like the window regulators are kaput!

    Sprayed electric switch cleaner on it after spraying wd40 on the mec

    On eBay they’re about £20 a side for cheap ones
