Your ideal band?

    Any given gutter, any given day.
    So, if you had access to any (living) musician or whoever you wanted, to put together a band, who would you choose?

    Mine:

    Eddie Vedder, vocals, because I think he's the best vocalist about. Very powerful voice.

    Foy Vance, guitar - local fella, you'll not have heard of him, but he plays great.

    Neil Young - songwriter. Because a lot of his songs are as much history lessons as they are music. Also on "clumsy piano playing" duties, and playing the organ when required.

    Flea from the RHCP - Bass guitar. For obvious reasons - they don't come much better.

    Scott Mullins - drums, the mad long-haired fella. Bangs them tubs like a maniac. I think I'd have him play a Lambeg drum as well, though.

    General gyrating - Bez and Iggy Pop.....

    robby robertson on lead guitar, guy from "the band".

    Ray charles on the piano.

    pete doherty song writing and being a general nuisance.

    beyonce knowles, just gettin em out for the lads.

    otis reading. singing

    marvin gaye on the sax.

    job done would never work but the tour bus would be an interesting place. [:D]

    Jimi Hendrix - obvious choice? maybe but how can you leave him out...


    Keys : Eddie Harsch (Black Crowes) for that southern swing


    Vox : Eddie Vedder. He may only be 5 foot f**k all but what a huge voice....

    Flea (RHCP) is over-rated... Bud Gough (of Sublime fame), now there's an amazing bassist.

    Unforunately Brad Nowell died almost 10 years ago so my perfect band can no longer exist *cries a little bit*
