Nineteen eighty seven was a big year for UK GTI enthusiasts. As the GTI phenomenon gathered pace, Mk1 and Mk2 Golf GTIs were aplenty, and the serial modifying had long begun. UK car enthusiasts’ exposure to the biggest revolution in affordable performance was unsatiable as it was relentless.
Club GTI was formed and was soon the single biggest UK GTI club, taking hordes of new memberships at their annual pilgrimage, to the only show they call ‘Inters‘. Offering GTI enthusiasts support throughout ownership with advice, meets, events and most importantly discounts, the melting pot we’ve created has pushed up the information resource bar to levels that repeatedly grab new members !
So it is with some pride that in 2012, Club GTI celebrates 25 years, serving its members in a vastly different scene to the formative one back in 1987, but one that continues enriched and by speed of communication and information. Club GTI brings you one of the biggest resources available in the UK and beyond.
Global Audience
We’re now reaching out further than we’d ever hoped, with regular readership from as far as America, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and Europe is reading in keenly too. Just in the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed members from Bulgaria and the Ukraine. How did we do this? By simply becoming ‘the’ place to go for top notch information.
