I fitted my door handles [:D]

Fitted me new wheels to: 1, make sure they fit. 2, so I can get rid of the crappy wheels that are on there at the moment.

They fit well with 205/55/16 on them.

Rears are very close but the axle isn’t 100% square and needs to come forward a tad.

Tomorrow’s job is take everything inside, out and see what we’ve got.

Got my clocks home with all my switches so fitted the Canchecked MFA 2.0 this evening. Need to figure out how to wire in the can signal from the ECU to display speed.

Also sorted the shift light. #racecar

    Next up, all the switches.

Got a crazy LED set and have started to make progress. Do they work? Who knows. I don’t have a battery for the car and I don’t have a 12v power supply.

order a converter off Amazon for a tenner and you can do it on your kitchen side. (And sort your LEDs ;) )

I just used one of those small 9v batteries to check mine as I was fitting them. I just figured it was less volts as opposed to more so couldn't do any harm haha. Did the trick though and got them to light up enough to check I had soldered them up properly.

Now that is a good idea!

Yeah, I like to live life on the edge, I’ll do the whole lot and then when they don’t work just buy more and not put LED’s in them

Golf has another engine… K04 this time which will do. Need a charge pipe, intake a couple small parts but that’s it.

Now let’s get it plumbed up

Engine wiring modified to suit the inlet being on the other side, all fitted and connected up. Just need to wrap the car loom.

Intercooler back in, I’d like a K04 charge pipe but I’ve got enough piping it shouldn’t be an issue.

and loads of space for the spots
