Looked great but somehow (I was half asleep) I posted 6.5J and your observational prowess led to the subheading. They are actually 6J . Interesting that they gave 2 options of offset for the same rim. Brake caliper clearancing perhaps? Table amended.
Someone had a bargain here - on the tyres! The wheels were free! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110803012470&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123 Info added to table!
These look pretty good. He gave me a postage quote of 80 euros to Finland so probably about the same to the UK. They've got a bit too expensive for me now so I'm out.
I'm sadly still looking after being offered 14"s newly refurbished but really want a set of 15"'s with not much rim...The elusive 6x15" have escaped me so far.....
14" FTW. They give a bit more compliance on the basic suspension design of the mk1 and 2 models. Plus the ever degrading state of our roads means less chance of buckling a rim in a pothole.
Must say, the 6J x 15s do look great, with the round faces. I'm almost tempted to get a set for my Mk1 VW Cup car, though I know they'll be too narrow for any meaningful use. The 7J dish design is not doing it for me! (did I just say that out loud? )
