Anyone who would like to borrow the tools for removing and fitting wishbone bushes please post on here.

    Threads with tools in use:

    http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=233056

    Rules are:

    1 - Paid Members only!

2 - Loan period is a maximum of one week. So don't request them until you have all of the parts and are ready to do the job.

3 - You post the tools on to the next user, by secure next day delivery, at your cost. It cost me 9.95 to send them to Lee from Loughborough.

4 - There are two HT grade 8.8 bolts for use in the tool. The bolt used needs greasing at every use. Anyone damaging a bolt or nut must buy a replacement of identical or better quality, and forward it on, so there is always a spare!

5 - You must post photos on here of you using the tools.

6 - Do not ask questions about bushes, sleeves or bush bolts on here. The other threads cover the subject very well.

Other rules may be added at my discretion!

    One snag is:

Assembly of the front bush is best done using Silicone Lub, obtainable from a plumbers merchant. Washing up liquid will probably suffice?

These threads gives tips about using sleeved and unsleeved rear bushes.
