GVKs mk2 VR6

    I've got a bit better at using spanners since last time we spoke. :lol:

    Is it the same MK2 you've got still or a totally fresh start?

    Plan -

    Replace 12v VR6 as it was, 268 cams etc

    Fit fuel tank and lines from mk3 VR6

    Replace all brake pipes

    A bloody good clean/service/mot and that.

    GB, about bloody time!! - good luck with the work..!

    That won't take much to get back on the road mun :)
    Give it a good wash and freshen up, front bumper, grill and clean off all the disks to get it rolling. Did you manage to snap the timing belt/chain on it? If not, give it a good once over and go from there.

    A MK2 Golf with a VR6 does not have enough ballast?.....lollol
