Hi all my 1991 mk2 gti has a crack in the metal coolant pipe that bends its way around the the engine. Is there a easy way to get this pipe out as it bends down in between the oil filter bracket.
When I did one many years ago now I took the whole front end off (Bumper/front panel /radiator/fan. etc) to access the pipe.
can be done with everything left in, just takes a lot of wiggling. if its about due for an oil change then pop the oil filter off makes life a lot easier
